| In the arena of high resolution games, VGA is actually out-dated. However, they are still in production and are regarded as "new" (in video slot/poker type game) by many. A few makers have already used SVGA; the others are changing too and will catch up soon. SVGA with 16 bit color shall be popular gradually. Except in high end market, you don't see (too many) XGA in video slot/poker type game (especially in dedicated board platform and not using PC ). However, a handful of makers may attempt to do that as well in the short future. |
